Class Offerings

Asana (Yoga postures), Pranayama (breath awareness and control), meditation and relaxation techniques are practiced in all classes. Please bring (or plan on purchasing at the studio) a yoga mat.

Please take a moment to read our Studio Policies. If you are a new student, please take a moment to print and complete a Student Registration/Liability Waiver form. Bringing a completed form to your first class will save time for everyone. Thank you.

Gentle

The Gentle class is designed for students interested in a slower, but equally effective, practice to loosen and strengthen muscles while calming the body and mind. This is the class for times of high stress or low energy, giving you an opportunity to safely build strength, mobility and balance – even if you’re healing from injury or illness. No yoga experience required.

Purna Yoga Fundamentals

This class covers the basics for a safe, effective yoga asana practice. You'll learn the terms, techniques and tips that have been put to use for thousands of years. Purna Yoga Fundamentals is the perfect starting place for new students, but it's also a great class for more seasoned students to polish their basic skills and revisit fundamentals of the practice.

Ongoing Practice

Designed for students with a working understanding of the fundamentals of yoga asanas, "Ongoing Practice" helps you put it all to good use! You'll get plenty of opportunity to strengthen, increase flexibility and improve balance with standing poses, gentle backbends, twists and more. As with all of our classes, teachers offer individualized instruction to ensure that everyone practices at a level that is appropriately challenging for them.

Pre- and Post-natal Yoga

This class is intended for pregnant women and new moms, though any woman is welcome to attend. Feel free to bring your not-yet-crawling baby! In this class you'll get to connect with other women, with your baby, and with yourself as you stretch, strengthen, and relax. Whether you are newish to yoga or a regular student, come share this special time in your life with other women.

Advanced Topics

This is the class for yoga practitioners (students and teachers, alike) who want to develop a deeper understanding of the fullness of yoga. You'll learn to incorporate meditation practices, breathing techniques and self-study into your daily life so that you feel more fully present in each moment. Yoga philosophy lessons will help you learn how to apply ancient wisdom to modern life. The asana practice offers challenging poses and more intricate sequences than our other classes, so at least one year in "Ongoing Practice" is recommended for all interested students.

Purna Yoga Power

Purna Yoga Power offers an intense hour of yoga conditioning. Perfect for students who want to get in, work hard, and get back to their day feeling energized, focused and centered. This is an excellent opportunity to learn to focus your mind and engage your spirit during intense physical activity!

Restorative Yoga 1

In this special class we use props to fully support the body so that students can completely relax. This relaxation leads to a profound release of tension - physical, mental and emotional. You will leave feeling refreshed and ready for a good night's sleep. No yoga experience required.

Restorative Yoga 2

In this special class we practice more intricate supported yoga poses and also take advantage of the wall rope system; familiarity with the poses is critical. Restorative Yoga 2 is for students with at least one year of alignment-based asana class experience.

Yoga for Adolescent Girls *

This class is for girls between 12 and 17 years old who have little or no experience with yoga. The class will teach both asana (yoga poses) and meditation, and will create flexibility, strength, restfulness, and energy. The focus will be on personal growth...learning to hear and share her innate wisdom. This is a safe, nurturing and fun space that cultivates inner beauty.
